I rejoiced with those who said to me, Let us go to the house of Lord.
Psalm 122:1
In the last days the mountain of the Lords temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it.
Isa. 2:2-3
Our Itinerary
Going up to Zion! This is our very first day together, a time of renewing our hearts in the truth that we are a prophetic people, called by God as representatives, as ambassadors from our nation and as people who are after His heart, standing with Him for Zions sake.
Overnight: In the Air!
Baruch ha ba! Welcome to Israel! We arrive at beautiful Ben Gurion International Airport, meet our tour guide, Pamela Suran, which is a blessing all of its own, and then travel to our hotel in Tiberias, in the Galilee. I know it will be difficult to keep our eyes open after our evening in the air! But we will at least get a glimpse of the Sea of Galilee! After dinner and a good nights rest, we will be ready in the morning for our first full day in the Land.
Overnight: Tiberias
Day 3 October 14, 2011 Friday (Yom Shishi) Second night of Succot Tiberias
We begin our day with a bountiful Israeli breakfast! This morning, we rise early, thanking Him to be in His Land. We will drive North up into the Golan Heights near the Syrian border and truly understand the critical and strategic issue of this border. We will also travel near the borders with the countries of Lebanon and Syria, to visit Caesarea Philippi, the site of Peters confession that Yeshua is the Messiah, then on to the Banias Waterfall. Our guide will take us right into the forest where we will experience a walk right beside the Falls breathtaking and heres a disclaimer for you: it is a pretty good work-out! On our way back, we travel to Yardenit, the baptismal site on the Jordan River. Be prepared for your mikveh and re-dedication to Yeshua as part of His consecrated priesthood, and His betrothed, remembering that we will soon be going up to Jerusalem to celebrate Succot.
Evening: Dinner at our hotel and time to share together of our first day in the Land Shabbat Shalom!
We are in for a very special day today in this part of the Land where Yeshua spent so many days with those He loved and who loved Him. We will experience a boat ride across the Sea reminding us of the days He spent with His disciples on this very lake and later, we will enjoy St. Peters fish at a nearby restaurant on the shore of the Galilee. We see Capernaum, Tabgha, Ginosar (view an ancient fishing boat), and witness the beauty of the Mount Of Beatitudes.
Evening: A special Shabbat evening in the home of Messianic believers, Carolyn and Richard Hyde, where we will enjoy dinner, Israeli dancing, and sharing with this couple whose ministry focus is on planting congregations in the Land and also helping other Jewish believers make aliyah! Carolyn is a worship leader and musician. Richard is the Director of their ministry, Heart of God.
Overnight: Tiberias
Day 5 October 16, 2011 - Sunday (Yom Rishon) Fourth night of Succot
Today we say shalom to the Galilee and begin our travel to the City of the Great King, Jerusalem! As we travel South, we see Nazareth and visit Megiddo and view the Valley of Armageddon. We will have opportunity to pray and hear from the Lord as we meditate on His promise to return in judgment and to restore all things. We will experience a panoramic view and prayer at Mt. Carmel. We will drive along the coastal highway and depending on our timing, we may be able to stop along the way to see the excavations at Caesarea. Just a little while longer and our day will end in Yerushalayim! Our hearts begin to pound as we approach the City destined to be the throne-room of our Messiah! We settle into our hotel, which will be home for the remainder of our time in the Land. And tomorrow awaits our first full day in Jerusalem! Todah, Abba!
Evening: Dinner at our hotel in Jerusalem
Evening: Back to our hotel for dinner and prepare to attend the ICZCs Feast celebration tonight at the Regency Hotel on Mt. Scopus. Hoping that Jan WillemVan Der Hoeven will be the speaker tonight! As you get into bed tonight, be in prayer for tomorrows Jerusalem March!
Overnight: Jerusalem
Day 7 October 18, 2011 Tuesday (Yom Shlishi) Sixth night of Succot
We get to sleep just a little later today! And you will be glad because this afternoon is the Jerusalem March, and it will take some energy! Eat a hearty breakfast as this will be a full day of experiencing what it means to bless Israel as a comforter and an ambassador from not only your geographic nation but from the eternal Kingdom the Christian/Messianic nation. You might want to wear our American colors red, white and blue. We march through the streets of Jerusalem bearing American flags, carrying banners, and small gifts for the children who stand with their parents and friends all along the road through the City. The absolute favorite gifts are small American flags. We proclaim to Israel your God reigns! We sing Havenu Shalom Aleichem!(peace be to you!). This is a highlight of our trip as we make proclamation to Israel that we stand with them and love them. Be prepared for your heart to be touched as they love us in return!
Evening: Enjoy dinner and sharing together at our hotel. (Possibly ICZC celebration)
Overnight: Jerusalem
Day 8 October 19, 2011 Wednesday (Yom Revii) Seventh night of Succot
Today we have a road trip as we travel to Tel Aviv and spend the morning in this bustling city that does not stop, day or night! We visit Independence Hall and bring to mind the prophetic day when Israel became a nation again after almost 2000 years of exile. We have the blessing of meeting with Messianic believers at Dugit Outreach Center where we have partnered in outreach and financial support since the beginning of Highway to Zion Ministries. This is a Messianic ministry that is fearless in its proclamation of the Gospel to the Jew first, headed up by Brother Avi Mizrachi, a Sabra (native-born Israeli). We leave Tel Aviv and head back to Jerusalem, stopping for lunch at Ein Kerem, the area where John the Baptist grew up. In the afternoon, we will visit CFI and our dear friends, Jim and Linda McKenzie.maybe we can capture them and take them with us for the rest of the day!
Evening: Dinner at our hotel, hopefully with Jim and Linda, too! After dinner, we attend ICZCs evening Succot celebration, their last evening meeting.
Overnight: Jerusalem
Day 9 October 20, 2011 Thursday (Yom Chamishi) - Shemini Atzeret/Simchat Torah (in Israel)
Today we travel from Jerusalem to the Judean desert Masada, Qumran, Ein Gedi, Dead Sea. Be prepared for a very warm (hot!) day. The Dead Sea is the lowest point on earth at 1,365 feet below sea level. We can take a swim no splashing and you will not sink you will float right on top of the water! This is the area that Sodom and Gomorrah are believed to have been situated. As we travel through, we view Qumran, where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. Traveling by cable-car we go to the top of Masada, where Herod built his mountaintop palace. This was the site of the last Jewish stand against Rome in 73AD. And a final stop at Ein Gedi, the oasis where David was pursued by King Saul. Lets remember our Beloved as we read from the Song of Songs 1:14.
Evening: Our special treat for this evening is a true Bedouin desert experience as we have dinner in the tents in the desertmaybe even a camel ride!!
Overnight: Jerusalem
Day 10 October 21, 2011 Friday (Yom Shishi) Erev Shabbat
This is a very full day and we may need to be very flexible as we have much more we want to see in Jerusalem. As we begin our day, we thank Him that He is calling His people home to the Land He promised them. We visit Yad Va Shem, which is a sobering experience, but also a hopeful one, as we know the Lord is planting His people back in this Land with all His heart and soul (Jer. 32:41) and we also thank Him that He has raised a whole nation from the dead! We plan to visit St. Peter in Galicantu, Jaffa Gate and the Jewish Quarter, where we will see that He has indeed restored His people to the Land He gave them. At the end of the day, we will spend a time of celebration at the Garden Tomb remembering Yeshua and His identification with Israel, as the suffering Servant, our Salvation and the Salvation of the whole world.
Evening: We enjoy dinner at our hotel on this Shabbat evening and for those with the energy, maybe a stroll to the Western Wall after dinner.
Overnight: Jerusalem
Day 11 October 22, 2011 Saturday - Shabbat
Today is our last day in the Land, and we prepare for our journey home and are free to pack and relax (shopping will not be an option on this day as it is Shabbat) maybe some would like to walk to Ben Yehuda Street or Jaffa Gate for a final shalom to the Old City and the Kotel (Western Wall). We keep our hotel rooms for the whole day no early check-outs, so you are free to relax in your room as long as you like!
Evening: We have dinner at our hotel before departing in the evening for Ben Gurion International airport.
Overnight: In the Air!

This may sound unreasonable but Im going to say it anyway! do not be overly concerned about the trip cost. Just pray first. Do not immediately begin to say I cant afford this tripI know of probably 25 personal testimonies of people who went to Israel because God called them and they could not afford it!
Going to the land of Israel is a calling from the Lord it is a journey that will confirm in your heart of hearts that your destiny as a believer is connected to the land of Israel and to Gods covenant with His people. The reality of the return of Yeshua to the Mount of Olives to rule and reign from Jerusalem will sink in to your understanding in ways beyond your mental reasoning. And finally, it will propel you into realizing you are called to prepare the way of the Lord.the question why am I here will begin to have clarity.
Please let us hear from you via phone or email if you are feeling an unction towards going to the Land in 2011.
