THE END FROM THE BEGINNING

THE END FROM THE BEGINNING

by Cathy Hargett

"I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come.

I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please." (Isa. 46:10)

So, what is the "end"? The "end" is that Yeshua haMashiach is coming back to earth and will restore all things. He is coming back to earth. Let that sink in. It's not about us going away to heaven. It's about Him returning to earth - and He is coming with all the holy ones with Him! Just before that happens, there will be many signs, and one of them is that the Jewish people will return to the Land of Israel. The righteous in the nations will help bring them home. Others in the nations will try to destroy Jerusalem. Israel is the focal point before He returns. Can you see that we are living in the age of the "end"?

The "end" is that the destiny of this earth and everything that He originally created for His glory will be restored. The "end" is that there will be no more death, no more crying, and no more pain. The "end" is the restoration of the Garden, Jerusalem, the Glory of God. It is the place of His throne. The "end" is a world without end, a perfect world, with our perfect Savior, Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus, the Messiah), and our awesome Aviad (Everlasting Father) ruling in the Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit) over all things.

And the "end" is you in your glorified body, united with your spirit, poised for eternity in this glorious Kingdom - if you have already passed from the earth, you will be raised. If you are alive when He returns, you will be transformed.

"...what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when He appears we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is."

(I John 3:2)

"....The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory..."

(I Cor. 15:42-43)

"..we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air..."

(I Thes. 4:17)

But only a remnant of believers today seem to walk in this reality of seeing the end from the beginning. He says He makes known the end from the beginning. He says the Ruach (Spirit) will reveal to us the things that are to come. (John 16:13) He wants us to understand what is to come. With that perspective, we will walk in powerful faith.

If we will embrace the unleashing of His prophetic Word, we will walk in deeper faith. We will know Him better. We will love Him more. We will worship and serve Him more.

He is the Ancient of Days. God is the God of Israel and of all nations. But the way He chose to reveal Himself is as the God of Israel. This is how the nations will know who the true God is - the true God is the God of Israel. All the nations will understand that Israel's God is God. (Zech. 14:9; Ezek. 36:23; I Kings 18:39)

A new heart He wants to give us. He wants to give us hearts that can see Him. In the end, every eye will see and every tongue confess that He is Lord. Start there. Start at the end. This is our reality as the people of God. He is coming and everyone will know that Yeshua is the Messiah of Israel and the One who rules from Zion is Elohim - Abba and Yeshua and the Ruach HaKodesh. We need to understand the end, to glory in the end, before we can understand the beginning or this part of life in between.

There is a glorious exhilaration that comes when a person finally sees into the vision of God. The truth is that fixing our eyes on the things that are to come will give us fervency and hope that are not of this world. He exhorts us to fix our eyes there, in the eternal realm. (II Cor. 4:17; Col. 3:1-2)

I am not sure why the plans that the Lord has for the restoration of all things are not embraced with total euphoria by all of us who believe. And not only embraced, but proclaimed!

But I ask the question. Could we, would we, believe Him? Dare we believe Him about "the end"? If we do, if we will, our lives will show it. Our faith will lead us. Our hope will be full. Because He is telling us the truth. If we will only listen. If we will only believe.

The "end" is that His government will be without end - yes, the "end is the beginning", and the universe will ever expand to infinity as there is not enough room now or forever to contain the Glory of Yahweh, the great I Am. (Isa. 9:7)

This is what I know - it is time to step into the vision, to step into the Glory, of His endtime plan. To believe it. To desire it. To live our lives in the perspective of it. This brings rest for the soul and anticipation and faith for the future.

Today, Lord, we turn our eyes toward you and we view a "Land that is afar off" and we see, even though looking through a mirror darkly, the form of our King in His beauty! (Isa. 33:17; I Cor. 13:12) We are in a raptured state in light of this vision.

Oh, God, King of the ages, Ancient of Days, we revere you, we honor you, we worship you, we believe you, and we praise you that you show us the things that are to come! We open our eyes. We fix our eyes on you. We proclaim the end from the beginning!
